Shouldn’t finding radio stations online be easier? Based on the Adobe AIR runtime, Antenna tries to alleviate that. Using a vast list of stations combined with a map interface, you can discover, listen to, and switch between thousands of stations effortlessly. Search is possible by country or genre, or just by clicking on a location on the map. Beyond that you have a history of recently-listened stations and can even rate the ones you like and return to them easily later.

Installs OK if you already have Adobe Air, which is required. Although the station chooser box and station info box can be moved around, they ALWAYS obscure some part of the map; it'd be nice if they weren't always on top or the map could be made small enough so it could be viewed unobstructed. I tried Yahoo Maps & Virtual Earth--it isn't the author's fault, but when both maps are zoomed out to view the whole world, a lot of each map is taken up by Antarctica, which has no radio stations. :( There are no small number of dead links in the station chooser list. Stations don't seem to be listed in any logical order. No BBC stations in UK country list even though BBC is a major global broadcaster; only "BBC station" is Vermont Public Radio, incorrectly shown on map as somewhere near London Ontario Canada :o. Does record stations; that's nice. I just stumbled onto a station that plays OK but doesn't show on the Virtual Earth map: KCFR in Denver. Interestingly, KCFR-HD2 DOES show on the map, but in SE Kansas, near the Oklahoma state line! Wonder how many more of these there are. Anyway, all in all, it's OK but not great. To be fair, some of the problems are not the author's fault. I'd like to be able to add stations that aren't on the list.

It would be great if we could search stations by language and manually add stations to the list.

Good job! Some links don't work though. Is/will it be possible to update the list of stations? How do I add new ones?
